Recent Econo Lodge Parkway Review: "I was very happy with our stay at this hotel. The grounds were well kept and clean, and I liked their attention to detail with the planter boxes and flowers. You could tell the owner took pride in his hotel. The owner checked us in and was very nice to us. We called the front desk for directions several times, and he was always helpful. The pool was smaller than expected, but was nice. My husband and daughter used it twice and had a good time. The table and chairs around the pool area looked new. The room was clean and nicely decorated (it looked like it had been recently renovated). There were no stains on the carpet, walls or ceiling. The beds were comfortable. I thought it was a nice plus that the refrigerator, microwave and wireless internet were complimentary (I wouldn't necessarily have expected this considering the price we paid). The bathroom was nice. It didn't look like an economy room. The vanity and the tub-surround were faux granite, and the bathroom floor was a nice tile. The complimentary breakfast was nice too. It was simple (cereal, donuts, fruit, toast, coffee, juice, milk), but again, considering what we paid for the room, I thought it was a nice touch. Overall, I was impressed with the quality and cleanliness of the hotel given what we paid. We will definitely stay here the next time we come to Williamsburg."
