| Stayed here in December and visited Busch Gardens, which is about 4 minutes drive from this hotel, as well as various holiday events in Williamsburg. The hotel was lovely--peaceful, clean, cozy. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the super-spacious, CLEAN marble bathroom was a dream after a long, cold day out and about. Free wifi was appreciated and room service was excellent. Did not experience any issues with noise, but in December, the resort is probably less crowded as opposed to a summer weekend when more families with kids are vacationing.
If traveling to this area between fall and spring, it stands to reason that one should inquire about the availability status of amenities such as pools, waterfront activities/restaurants, etc. I was well aware of these issues since I called to determine these things before booking. It's just a necessary part of travel, to plan ahead. |

| Everyone was very accomodating. Our room was clean & nicely appointed. You could hear people in the other rooms walking and opening and closing the patio doors. |

| Kingsmill is close to Colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown, the resort faciliates are well maintained (they have a nice size indoor poor and gym), the room is spacious and clean (the bathroom is very spacious!) and hotel staff are friendly. We ate at the Edge (restaurant within the resort) - the food was very good there but a bit pricey.
Only complain (similar to other reviews) is that the hotel walls are very thin - my early-riser neighbors woke me up most mornings.
Given what we paid for the room it is good bang for the buck! |

| My husband and I booked this hotel hoping to have a relaxing, comfortable experience, but we couldn't get reservations for the spa (needs to be booked with weeks in advance) and the general appearance and cleanliness of the room was below standard. This was really surprising considering that they have a "dress-code" to use the resort. We didn't eat at any of their restaurants, but we did use the pool. The pool is large enough to actually do lap-swimming, but it was quite dirty as well.
The only good thing I have to say about this hotel is that the bed was very comfy. But we feel like it is really over-rated overall so we wouldn't recommend it.
The spa is suppose to be really good, but not sure is worth the prices they charge. |

| This hotel is next to the amusement park and close to other attractions. The best thing for us was the large suite with plenty of room for the family to hang out and play board games in the evenings. The kids really enjoyed the indoor pool with a large hot tub. The staff was nice and we will return! |

| You re only 5 minutes from colonial williamsburg when you leave the resort. They pamper you there and it's worth every penny you spend to stay. |

| Great location, yet they provide complementary shuttle service to Busch Garden.
Very private.
The only thing we weren't happy about was that the bedroom was chilly. It's colder than the living/dining room area.
Overall, it's a great place to stay with kids! |

| The resort is gorgeous! I cannot believe the amenities that guests can use for free - lap pool, whirlpool, hot tub, sauna, gym. I enjoyed the morning walk at the Marina. The room is very clean and the bathroom is really spacious and nice, the shower is heavenly. The beds and pillows are very comfortable. The people who work there are very nice, friendly, polite and helpful. The restaurants are really good. I enjoyed the Eagle's bar!
The hotel's location is excellent. Bush Gardens is just a few minutes away with free shuttle from the hotel. Visited Jamestown, Yorktown and Virginia Beach.
I would go back to Kingsmill in summer and can't wait!!! |
