Recent Omni Newport News Review: "Loved the hotel from the lobby to the room. The pool looked lovely although I didn't use it....it must have been very heated because it was extremely hot around the pool area! Disappointed with room service; ordered breakfast in the room as a TREAT (bear in mind there is a $2.95 delivery plus 21% service charge!); order was completely messed up. First  time, delivered wrong tray; second time, delivered correct food but wrong coffee for me (had asked for a cappuccino, got a thermos of coffeer). Had dinner in restaurant because it was pouring outside; interesting to say the least! We were just about the only customers in there...took forever to get a salad and a soup to start. When I got my minestrone, it was as if it had been cooked to order, vegetables still quite firm. It was delicious but SO hot! Then we both had pasta dishes and they were ginormous! We honestly could have shared one entree between us!"
