Recent Point Plaza Newport News Review: "I needed an overnight stay to be near the test site for an important licensing exam. My check-in was quick and polite. I was "guest of the day" and received an upgrade to a suite. I was concerned when I first arrived that evening. There's a large party/meeting area, and lots of partiers were already in the lobby, pool and parking areas. However, my room was comfortable and quiet. I decided to try their restaurant for breakfast instead of room service (although it's available). The buffet was nice, and the service was fast, friendly, and very reasonably priced. I wasn't there long, but it certainly met my needs with a much-appreciate jaccuzi thrown in!"
