This wonderful Inn has slipped somewhat over the years and it certainly does not deserve the ranking as a great hotel. It's obvious that the hotel management has not kept up with maintenance. In the dining room, chairs were actually wobbly and the wait staf though courteous was not at the highest standard. We are not sorry we ent here -- it's so close to the Colonial area of Williamsburg you can just walk there. And it's a great place as a four or three star hotel.

The hotel is next to the Williamsburg Inn and across the street from Colonial Williamsburg so the location was great. But I did not expect a modern and rather unattractive building and some of the furniture is beginning to look shabby. One side of the building overlooks a pond, but the view from our side was of a tennis court with a big truck parked next to it. On the plus side, the rooms have balconies. For a romantic experience, I'd recommend staying right at the Inn.
